Ministry of Agriculture LANKA PHOSPHATE LIMITED

Lanka Phosphate Limited is a fully State owned Company coming under the purview of the Ministry of Industries. The business of the company is excavating, processing and selling of Rock Phosphate and High Grade Rock Phosphate Fertilizer locally. 
As such contribution of the company to the agricultural development of the country, is very considerable. The company is now in the process of developing new projects to expand the production capacity and manufacturing of more soluble forms of fertiliser to meet the entire national requirement. The Company wishes to build an energetic and dynamic team of personnel to undertake the challenging tasks ahead.

b.  Should have a sound health and physical condition to enable to work at any part of the country. 

c. Should have a decent character and a good vision,

d. Must be willing to work at Eppawala Factory site.

01. MECHANICAL ENGINEER - (01 post in Manager Category) MM -1-1 

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering in a University recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka with at least 05 years experience in state or recognized private organization in the relevant field after obtaining the above degree with proven track record. 

Or

National Diploma in Technology (NDT) Mechanical Engineering conducted by the University of Moratuwa with 08 years experience in state or recognized private organisation in the relevant field with after obtaining the above diploma with proven track record. 

Gross Salary: MM 1-1 2016 A - (Rs. 53175/- 10 x 1375/- 15x1910/- 98325/-)

Age  :  not more than 45 years of age as at 01.10.2021
(Upper age limit will not be applicable to those who are presently employed in Government sector, State Corporations / Companies and Statutory Boards and their applications should be forwarded through the Heads of their respective Institutions)

Preference will be given to those who have experience in operation and maintenance of Jaw Crushers, Roller Grinding Mills, Heavy vehicles, Passenger Transport Vehicles, etc. 

The following monthly allowances will be paid in addition to the Basic Salary,

• Cost of Living Allowance approved by the General Treasury.

• Monthly production incentive

• Monthly attendance allowance

• Monthly transport allowance

• Meal allowance - based on daily attendance

• Professional allowance 

The Approximately monthly gross salary will be minimum of Rs. 100,000/-

 •  Selected candidate will be given bachelor accommodation at Eppawala Site.

 • Annual Bonus

 • Encashment of unutilized Medical Leave (at present two months salary is paid)  

 • Contribution to the EPF by the employee is 10% and by the Company 15% (inclusive of 03% to the ETF)
