Job Description

GOVERNMENT OF THE  DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF SRI LANKA

MINISTRY OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT & HOUSING

Support to Colombo Urban Regeneration Project- AIIB

The Government of Sri Lanka has negotiated for financing from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank ( AIIB) towards the construction of about 5,500 housing units and redevelopment  of lands in Colombo city and suburbs under the Urban Regeneration program as a priority investment in the Urban Developme111 Region. This Project is executed by the Min is11y of Urban Development & Housing (MUD&H) and implemented by the Urban Development Authority (UDA) .

Applications are invited from qualified and experienced citizens of Sri Lanka to fill following positions in the SCURP. Proficiency in English. familiarity with government regulations and computer literacy are essential prerequisites for these positions.

Architect Post

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1)A Successfully completed Bachelor' s Degree in the relevant field which is recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Or

A qualification recognized by the University Grants Commission as an equivalent qualification to the degree in the relevant field.

Or

An Associate Membership/ A similar Professional qualification obtained from a recognized professional Institution in the relevant field.

with

At least 09 years· post qualifying experience in the relevant field.

2) An officer of the Government All Island Services Class111/ 11 or above or similar status in  the relevant field.

with

At least 09 years of experience in the Class 111/ 11 post. (Experience in  projects will  be an added advantage.)

Terms and Conditions:

• Remuneration, Term s and Condition s will be in terms of Management Services Circular No. OJ/ 2019 of  15.03.2019.
• Working station will be in Colombo with  field travelling in Western  Province.
