PROVINCIAL ROAD DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

NORTH CENTRAL PROVINCE, ANURADHAPURA

Arrangements are made to recruit persons, for the post of Civil Engineer (Permanent) and for the post of Mechanical Engineer (Under Contract basis) , for this Authority, and applications are called to fulfill following vacancies, from the citizens of Sri Lanka. Special preference will be given to the permanent residents of U1e North Central Province. Relevant applications should be forwarded to the following address, to receive before 27.09.2021.

CIVIL ENGINEER

01. Grade and Salary scale : Rs. 55,925 - 10 x 1,375 - 15xl,910- 98,325

02.  Age limit : Should be 1ess than 45 years of age. The above age  limit will not be applicable to the persons who are already employed in the public service, state Corporations , or Statutory Boards).

03.Mini1num qualifications and service requirements.

(i)  (a) B.Sc. Engineering Degree from a University in Sri Lanka or from any other University, or equivalent qualifications in engineering similar level.

with

One year's experience as an Engineer, in the field of Bridges/ Highways. 

or

(b) Having passed the Part I or 11 of the Institute of Engineers of Sri Lanka (IESLJ or of the Institute of Civil Engineers of United Kingdom.

01 year of experience an Engineer in Bridges /  Highways field. or

(ii)A Materials Engineer or a Professional Engineer ,with engineering qualifications, having one year experience.

Other qualifications and conditions:

► Applicants should have fully completed all the relevant qualifications, as at the date of recruitment.

► Should be les s than 45 years of age, as at the date of recruitment. This upper age limit will not be applicable lo those who are already employed in public sector, Provincial Public Sector, semi Government pre Govt. sector institution (Corporation, Board, Statutory Institution)

►Candidates from Public Service, semi govt. Service, should submit their applications, through the respective heads of the Departments / Corporations / Boards.

► Applicants should have to send a self prepared application inclusive of their complete bio data (CV) with the names of two non related referees who could provide information about the applicants.

►This post is on the contract basis, for a period of one year. Therefore this period of employment ,may or may not be extended at the descretion of the Authority.

► No. of posts to be recruited is 01.

►An allowance of Rs. 77,425/ = for this post on contract basis, will be offered, per month.

► In case, if there are any special qualifications / experiences available of the applicant, they will be taken into consideration and the successful applicant will be placed on an upper grade or salary point.

► In case, you are selected for the above post, you are bound to serve in any part / area of the North Central Province .

►The decision of  Chairman  /  General  Manager  of  the Authority is the final, regarding any matter, relevant lo the recruitments.
