VACANCIES

Transport Officer- (JM 1-1) (Contract basis)

Requirements-

National Diploma in Technology Certificate/Diploma in Technology of the Open University/Higher National Diploma in Engineering Science (HNDE)/National Diploma in Engineering Science (NDES) the N.V.Q. Level 5, with at least 5 years experience in Automobile Engineering

                                                     OR

Having obtained a certificate of proficiency not below  than  the National /vocational Qualification Level 6, issued by a Technical / Vocational Training Institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission with at least 5 years experience in Automobile Engineering.

Salary-

JM 1-1 - Rs. 42,600 - 10x755/- 18xl,135/- 70,580/-

(In addition, the prevailing cost of living allowance is paid.)

•  Every Applicant should be a citizen of Sri Lanka

•  Every Applicant should be physically and mentally fit to              discharge the duties of the post well and to serve in any              part of the island.

•  Every Applicant should be of excellent moral character.

•  The selected permanent candidates will be appointed on           probation for a period of three (03) years.

•  Every Applicant should  be not less than 35 years and  not          more than 55 years of  age but this age limit is not                        applicable to the employees of Government Departments,        Corporations and Statutory Boards.
