Post of Lecturer (Contract Basis)
The Department of Agricultural Extension, University of Peradeniya will entertain applications for the post of Lecturer in the Department, on Contract basis, from among
persons who hold the following qualifications.
Educational Qualifications:
A basic degree in Agriculture / Agriculture Technology and Management /Management
AND
A Postgraduate Degree of at least two academic years duration in Organizational Management / Development Communication or related area with a research component by way of thesis/ dissertation Areas of Expertise:
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching, research experiences in Organizational Management, Human Resources Management, and Organizational Behavior
Experience:
At least six (01) years of experience in; teaching at university level/ Professional experience/ Research in a recognized Institution/ Postgraduate Studies for MPhil or PhD degree is needed.
Professional experiences in working with agricultural communities, conducting training and development work will be an added advantage.
The contract will be for a period of one (01) year.
