VACANCIES

Applications will be entertained up to 30.04.2022 for the following post.

Scientific Assistant (Grade II)

I. A First or Second Class (Upper Division) in a BSc. Special degree in Molecular Biology.

OR

II. A Second Class (Lower Division) in a BSc. Special degree in Molecular Biology.

OR

III. A pass in the BA / BSc. Special degree in Molecular Biology.

OR

IV. A BSc. General degree (with a first or second class) with Molecular Biology as a course unit and MSc. Degree in a filed related to Molecular Biology.

AND

V. One year laboratory experience in Molecular Biology.

Salary Scales:

U-AS 1 (I) : Scientific Assistant (Grade II)
Rs. 48,385 - 19x690 - 61,495 p.m. (as at 01.01.2020)

Age:

Below 45 years.
Age limit will not be applicable to the employees in the Government Departments, Corporations, Statutory Boards, UGC and Higher Educational Institutions.

Benefits:
Appointee will become a contributor to the Universities Provident Fund, contributing 10% of the monthly salary. The University will contribute 8%, 7% and 3% of the monthly salary to the University Pension Scheme, University Provident Fund and Employees Trust Fund respectively.
