VACANCIES

Govi Nena “ග ොවි නැණ” Project is Real Time Mobile-based information system to achieve Food Security for the country and stable and sustainable prices for farmers and consumers. The project will enhance the growth and long term sustainability of the Sri Lankan Agriculture Sector. 

We are looking forward for Interested and Qualified Person for Software Development working on a contract basis for designing and implementing the modules of the Govi-Nena App.

QUALIFICATIONS:

B.CS. (General) or B.CS. (Special) – OR- B.Sc. (General) Degree in IT or Computer Science

Sound knowledge in PhP, Ionic, and database

Superior written and verbal communication skills in English

KEY RESPONSIBILIES:

Complete the identified 25 tasks/activities under main 5 Modules (see below):

Main Modules - Govi –Nena Project

1.         Home Garden App

1.       Add the POPs of five crops to the crop list for the home garden app.

2.       Categorize the crops Like: Fruits category, Vegetable category (Vegetable category again divided into sub categories).

3.       Give the weather report summary based on last year information (at least 5 years data required)

4.       Give the location based weather decision.

5.       Add Additional details for ‘Helpful Info module’ in Home Garden App.

6.       Update Additional details for ‘Helpful Info part’ in three languages.

7.       Create the crop wise pdf document of My Growing Activities – Users can download the pdfs.

2.         GAPs Module

1.       Create frontend implementation – Ionic Framework.

2.       Create backend implementation –Angular, MYSQL database.

3.       Translators of GAPs module.

4.       Database Creation.

5.       Testing and Evaluation.

3.         Business Module (Market Module)

1.       Create frontend Implementation relevant the  farmer app – Ionic Framework

2.       Create frontend Implementation relevant to the web application – HTML, CSS, Java Script or React

3.       Create backend Implementation – Angular, Python – Training module connected with the farmer app.

4.       Database Creation.

5.       Testing and Evaluation.

4.         Pests and Diseases Module

1.       Create Adobe XD or Figma sketches for this module.

2.       Create frontend Implementation relevant the farmer app – Ionic Framework

3.       Create backend Implementation – Angular, Python – Training module connected with the farmer app (Included the Image Processing part).

4.       Database Creation.

5.       Testing and Evaluation.

5.         Final Module

1.       Create a chart based on the time period for paddy.

2.       Interface modification – for both mobile apps (Home garden and Farmer). – Fonts, Color codes, Logo icons etc.

3.       Check the whole functionalities - for both apps.

Payment method – Rs.10, 000.00 per task/activity, once it is completed (Allocated total amount = Rs. 250,000.00)
