VACANCIES

Applications will be invited by this University for the following post from those who possess required qualifications.

POST OF TECHNICAL OFFICER GRADE II SEGMENT A

Qualifications:

1. National Diploma in Technology or equivalent Qualification 

OR

 2. Higher National Diploma in Engineering 

OR

 3. Higher National Diploma in the relevant Field 

OR

 4.  Diploma in the relevant field of at least two years’ full-time duration obtained from a recognized Institute with one year experience in the relevant field.

Age: Not more than 45 years. 

Salary Scale: UMT 1 (II) - 35145-7X 355; 9X495-42085 p.m.
    

Note: Preference will be given to the candidates who have obtained following qualifications.

i. Diploma/ Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences 

ii Diploma/Degree in Molecular Biology and/or Biotechnology 

iii Diploma/ Degree in Microbiology

iv Diploma/ Degree in Analytical Chemistry 

v Diploma/ Degree in Neurophysiology

vi  Diploma/ Degree in Audio Visual Technologies 

vii  Diploma/ Degree in Electronics 

viii Diploma/ Degree in Computer Hardware and /or Software 

Method of Recruitment: Selection by practical test and an interview

Other benefits applicable for the post

Universities Pension Scheme - Contribution by the employer an amount equivalent to 8% of the salary to the Universities Pension Scheme

Universities Provident Fund - Contribution by the employer an amount equivalent to 7% of the salary to the Universities Provident Fund   Contribution by the employee an amount equivalent to 10% of the salary to the Universities Provident Fund

Employees Trust Fund -  Contribution by the employer an amount equivalent to 3% of the salary to the Employees Trust Fund 

Cost of Living Allowance -  Rs.7,800/- per month (as per present regulations)
