INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION (SLIATE) VACANCY

Applications are invited for the following posts in SLIATE. The applications must reach the Director General, SLIATE, "Janawathu Piyasa", No.320, T.B. Jayah Mawatha, Colombo 10 under registered post on or before 23-02-2022.

TECHNICAL OFFICER (Civil) - Head Office - (Vacancy 01)

Educational & Other Qualifications :- HNDE or NDT or equivalent with 2 years' experience (Not below NVQ level 6)

Salary scale :- MA 2 - 2 - 2016 Rs. 30310-10x300-7x350-4x600-20x710 = 52360

Conditions of Service :-

(1) Selected candidates will become the contributors to the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) contributing 10% of their earnings and the SLIATE contributing 15% of their earnings from its funds and also contributing 3% of their earnings to the Employees' Trust Fund (ETF).

 (2) Age limit is below 45 years for all categories. However, it will not apply to those who are in the permanent cadre in the Public/State sector.

 (3) Applicants in Government Departments, Corporations and Statutory Boards should send their applications through the Heads of respective Institutions.

 (4) Selected applicants holding pensionable post in Government Departments will have to obtain their release through the Director General of Establishments. However, they will not be entitled to pension rights whilst in the service of the SLIATE.
