Govi-Nena  Project is Real Time Mobile-based information system to achieve Food Security for the country and stable and sustainable prices for farmers and consumers.

The project will enhance the growth and long term sustainability of the Sri Lankan Agriculture Sector.

We are looking forward for interested and qualified candidate for above project.

Position is:

Post of Data Entry Operator (One position) - (Full time)

KEY RESPONSIBILIES:

1. Data entry and tracking and prepare source data

2. Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare

source data for computer entry

3. Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations

4. Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Data entry skills
• Computer literacy skills with typing
• Documentation skills
• Proven data entry work experience, as a Data entry operator will be an asset
• Experience of working with the Computer projects (software development projects)

REMUNERATION:

A monthly allowance of Rs. 50,000.00 (with EPF/ETF) will be paid subject to satisfactory performance. Payments will be made upon submission of the time sheet and attendance with the approval of Project Coordinator.

Duration: less than six months

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:

• ability to function effectively in a team environment inspiring trust and cooperation of other team members ability to work efficiently, and to meet deadlines strong communication, negotiating skills and good interpersonal relations ability to speak, read and write fluent English, and assist in the production of project reports in English.
