National Transmission and Distribution Network Development& Efficiency Improvement ( NTDND & El ) Project

Vacancies  -  Electrical  / Civil Superintendents

(On Contract Basis for 12 months)

Applications are invited from citizens of Sri Lanka having following qualifications and experience specified for the respective posts on fixed terms contract basis for the Project Division CEB.

Qualifications, Experience and  Other Requirements

Post of  Electrical/ Civil  Superintendents  (Electrical Superintendents  -  04  Civil Superintendents - 03)

•Any of the following educational qualifications in the Electrical or Civil scheme.

National Diploma in Technology (NDT), National Diploma in Engineering Science (NDES), Diploma in Technology - OUSL, Higher National Diploma in Engineering (HNDE) OR National Certificate in Technology (NCT) with 5 years post qualifying experience in a Technical grade .

•Below 35 years of age

•At least 3 years experience in electricity infrastructure development projects such as power transmission and distribution involving construction supervision , progress monitoring, testing & commissioning, public relations etc.

•Should be able to work in Sinhala/Tamil and English.

Duties

•The appointee should provide relevant technical & management inputs to the Project Management Team of NTDND&EI Project to handle all its aspects.

Remuneration:  Subject to the  provisions of  Management  Services Circular No. 01/2019 dated March 15 , 2019 issued by Ministry of Finance.

Mode of Selection:  Through an interview from shortlisted applicants.

Base Station :   Project Office at Torrington Colombo 07.

Projects Sites:   Dehiwa la & Battaramulla

Closing Dates:   13 Octobe1 2021

Terms and Conditions of Service:

• The Appointment will be on contract basis for a period of twelve (12)months.

• CEB reserves the right to extend or terminate the service as mentioned in the appointment letter.

•This appointment will not be considered as any future entry qualification for permanent cardre of Ceylon Electricity Board.

Other Benefits:

1.The  selected  candidates  will  be  entitled  to  Employee's  Provident  Fund (EPP)with Employees' Contribution of 10% and project contribution of 15% and

2.Employees' Trust Fund (ETF) with contribution of 3% by the project.
