The Co-operative Wholesale Establishment

Applications are invited from qualified citizens of Sri Lanka for the following posts at the Co-operative Wholesale Establishment.

Accountant (External Applicants)

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy / Management / Commerce field from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission

And

At least 03 years experience in Government Corporation, Statutory Board or reputed private sector institution after obtaining the Degree qualification

Internal Applicants

Should have completed a successful service period of five (05) years in Grade II of the Junior Manager (JM 1-1) Category relevant to the subject field entrusted to the relevant post Nature of Appointment Permanent with entitlement to Employees Provident Funds (EPF) and Employees Trust Fund (ETF). Will be recruited to Grade II of the MM 1-1 Service Category

Salary Scale As per Circular No. 02/2016of the Department of Management Services MM 1-1 – 2016 – Rs. 53,175 – 10 x 1375 – 15 x 1910 – 95,575/- (In addition to the above, allowances relevant to government corporations approved by the government will be paid)

Age : Should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years.

Maximum age limit will not be applicable to internal applicants.

2. Should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post well and to serve in any part of the island.
