National Salt Limited is a Government owned company which comes under the purview of Ministry of Industries. Applications are invited for the following posts on Permanent basis to work at Colombo-Head Office and at our Salterns located in Mannar and Elephant Pass  (Kilinochchi).

MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (MA I-I)for Finance and Admin Division

(02  Positions- at Head Office Colombo )

 Required Qualifications

  External Candidates

1.    Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six subjects in one sitting with credit  passes for four subjects including.

1.     Sinhala / Tamil

2.     English language (if necessary to the post )

3.     Mathematics

2.    Having  passed three subjects (other than the General Paper) at the G.C.E. (A/L)  examination. Typing/Computer knowledge in the relevant field and Knowledge in accounts, Quick Book would be preferred.

 Internal Candidates:–

Employees of the categories of Primary Level - Skilled, Primary Level - Semiskilled and  Primary Level - Unskilled who possess the following qualifications are eligible to apply.

Educational:

 Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six subjects with credit passes for four  subjects including

•     Sinhala / Tamil

•     English language (if necessary to the post)

•     Maths       

Other:

Having completed a minimum of five (05) years satisfactory service in a permanent post  under the above employee category.

Salary scale - MA I-I –GR-III-2016-Rs.(27,910-10x300-7x350-4x495-20x660-48,540) & other government approved  allowances .
