We are looking for highly motivated individuals with right attitude to fill the following vacancy.

POST OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPER 

 1. Job Scope  :

 Under direction and supervision of the IT Manager - Application and Software, analyze, design, develop, implement and maintain Applications and Software of the organization to achieve corporate vision, mission and objectives.

2. Key Responsibilities:

a. Gather and evaluate user requirement and Produce clean,  efficient code based on finalized requirement.  

b. Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.

c. Co-ordinate with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify correct business requirements, program intent, identifies problems, and suggests changes.

d. Integrate software components using APIs and third-party programs. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software. 

e. Write instructions or user manuals for developed or purchased software.

f. Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then verify code to ensure that the desired results are produced.

g. Schedule project plans for various software related project implementations and submit those plans for supervisor approval. 

h. Co-ordinate with internal and external parties to achieve pre define goals which are set under various type of software project implementations.

i. Submit suitable technical specifications for software and hardware requirement which are raise by different divisions.    

j. Attend to other duties which will be assign by the superior form time to time. 

3. Qualifications   : 

i. Should have successfully completed a Higher Diploma in relevant field equivalent to NVQ Level 6 from a recognized Institute such as NDT, NDES, City & Guilds, HNDE, Open University, SLIIT, etc.  
 

ii. Preference will be given to those who are having relevant Vendor Certificate       

4. Experience  :  Should possess minimum of Three (03) years post qualifying experience in the relevant field.        

5. Age :  Should be below 35 years on the closing date for applications.        

6. Salary  :  The remuneration package offered will be attractive. In addition the selectee will receive attractive fringe benefits.       

7. Method of selection : By a test and an interview.

General: 

The selected candidate will have to perform duties at any Airport in any part of the Island as and when necessary.
