VACANCY


POST OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (01 POSITION)


The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL), widely known as Lake House, is the home and heart of print media in Sri Lanka. The country’s pioneer print media institution having a history of over 100 years and 25 years of online publishing continues to occupy the number one spot in the print media industry.


Lake House is looking for a talented and dynamic individual who possesses the following qualifications and requirements to fill the above vacancy in the IT Department. 


Required Qualifications - 

  • BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or BSc in Mathematics/Physical Science or another related field with IT professional qualifications with  Software Engineering or Software Development experience, preferably in a related field.

 

  • Programming experience in relevant languages such as VB. Net ASP. NET,C# in Microsoft, Net Environments
     

 

  • Good knowledge in MS SQL Server and maintenance is a must 
    Experience in Web Development using PHP in MySQL/ Apace environment is an added qualification.
     


Age -  Below 35 years


Salary -  Negotiable

 

Conditions of Employment -   The appointment will be on contract basis and based on performance the contract period will be renewed.
