SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) is the apex agency of the government promoting and facilitating foreign direct and local investment in priority sectors of the economy. The BOI plays a pivotal role in transforming the Sri Lankan economy to become a globally competitive manufacturing and services export hub. The BOI is seeking energetic, dynamic and experienced individual with high integrity and stamina for hard work to be recruited as Software Developer on contract basis.

Job Profile: 

The ideal candidate should possess the ability to participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of software systems for the organization by studying the organization's operations, information needs, systems flow, data usage and work processes, investigating problem areas, conferring with users following the software development lifecycle. The role further requires the application of software engineering best practices used in the software industry to deliver reliable products in an effective and efficient manner and to ensure software solutions are completed on time and to specifications.

Qualifications and Experience: 

A Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Science from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or BCS qualification with minimum of three (03) years post qualifying experience in a related field with specific experience in designing and developing world class software systems, full stack capabilities in developing, launching and maintaining external facing and internal productivity tools, ideally at private sector establishments with international clientele.

Salary :  Negotiable

Age Limit :  Preferably between 25 - 35 General Conditions:
