Department of Psychology & Counselling Faculty of Health Sciences 

The Open University of Sri Lanka Walk - in Interview Counsellor (On Contract) 

The Dept. of Psychology & Counselling of the Faculty of Health Sciences is seeking for an experienced Counsellor/Psychologist to join their Counselling Unit. This role will involve providing caring and professional counselling services confidentially to both students and staff of the University 

Qualifications: 

A Postgraduate Diploma (or higher qualification) in Counselling from a recognized institution

❖ Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Counsellor in a similar background 

❖ Should be a person with good professional conduct adhering to ethical standards of the discipline. 

❖ Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

❖ Should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in interpersonal relationships 

❖ Administrative and ICT skills are required 

Payment: Rs. 60,000/- +EPF & ETF (per month) 

A walk-in interview will be held at the Faculty Board Room, Faculty of Health Sciences The Open University of Sri Lanka, Nawala, Nugegoda on, Tuesday 21st June 2022 at 1.30 p.m.
