Job Description

VACANCY

Post of Systems Maintenance Executive

 

The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL), widely known as Lake House, is the home and heart of print media in Sri Lanka. The country’s pioneer print media institution has a history of over 100 years and 25 years of online publishing continues to occupy the number one spot in the print media industry.

Lake House is looking for talented and dynamic individual to fill the following vacancy in the IT Department.

 

Required qualifications

BSc Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology

Or

BSc Degree with Information Technology as a major subject / 2 year Higher Diploma from a recognized Institution With thorough knowledge in following areas;

  • Computer Systems, Computer Networks and Database Concepts
  • LAN/WAN Administration and troubleshooting, Database Administration, Ms Windows and Linux Systems Administration
  •  Certification in Database Administration or Systems/Network Administration / Computer Security will be an added advantage.

 

Age limit - Below 35 years

 

Method of Selection

Shortlisted applicants based on the stipulated qualifications and experience will be called for an interview.

 

Conditions of Employment

The appointment will be on contract basis and based on performance, contract period will be renewed.

 

Remuneration

An attractive and negotiable remuneration package commensurate with the qualifications and experience will be offered to the selected candidates.
