VACANCIES

The East Container Terminal (ECT) Phase II Project Management Unit of Sri Lanka Ports Authority is looking for qualified individuals for the following posts on contract basis :-

POST OF SENIOR CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION AND CLAIM MANAGEMENT ENGINEER

(a) Remuneration : Negotiable

(b) Eligibility

(i) Educational & Professional Qualifications : Should possess a BSc Degree in Civil Engineering which is recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Or

 Should possess an equivalent qualification to the BSc Degree in Civil Engineering field recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Or

Should possess an Associate Membership / a similar professional qualification obtained from a recognized professional institution in the relevant field With Experience At least 12 years post qualifying experience in the managerial level including two (02) years active experience working as a Contract Administrator / Claim Management Engineer.

Or

(ii) Educational & Professional Qualifications

Should possess a BSc Degree in Civil Engineering which is recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Or

Should possess an equivalent qualification to the BSc Degree in Civil Engineering field recognized by the University Grants Commission.

 Or

 Should possess an Associate Membership / a similar professional qualification obtained from a recognized professional institution in the relevant field.

And

Should possess a Post Graduate Degree in the relevant field or Corporate / Chartered Membership or a similar professional qualification obtained from a recognized professional institution in the relevant field.

 With

 Experience At least Nine (09) years post qualifying experience in the managerial level including two (02) years active experience working as a Contract Administrator / Claim Management Engineer.

Note : Registration of Engineering Council of Sri Lanka (ECSL) under the Associate Engineer (A Eng.) category or higher is mandatory for the post of Engineer

NOTE: Applicants who are willing to apply for the above posts should be below 45 years of age (This age limit will not apply to those in Government Departments or State Corporations)
