NATIONAL FILM CORPORATION OF SRI LANKA

VACANCIES

Applications are invited from candidates who have fulfilled the under-mentioned educational and other qualifications for recruitment on contract basis for the below mentioned posts that are vacant at the National Film Corporation of Sri Lanka.

Post: Deputy General Manager – Finance and Administration (HM 1-1)

Qualifications and Experience:  

Degree obtained from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission and a postgraduate degree in a subject field relevant to the post and at least 15 years experience in a management level post in a government corporation, statutory board or reputed private sector institution after obtaining the Bachelor’s degree.

Allowance : Management Service Circular No. 02/2016 HM 1-1

� Rs. 80,295/= (In addition other allowances approved by the government)

� Official Transport facilities relevant to this post will be provided.

Age Limit : Should be not more than 55 years

Method of Recruitment: By a Structured Interview.

Nature of Post and Conditions of Service:

This recruitment will initially be for a period of six (06) months on contract basis and there is a possibility of extension of the service period on contract basis based on the necessity of the post and satisfactory performance. Further, the Appointing Authority has the authority to end the contract period by giving one month’s notice. Selected candidate should contribute to the Employees Provident Fund and Employees Trust Fund.

Applicants should be Sri Lankan citizens with an excellent character and copies of the following documents should be attached to the application.

1.  Copies of Educational Certificates

2.  Copy of the Certificate of Birth

3.  Copies of Experience Certificates

I. Applicants  who have fulfilled the qualification relevant to the above posts should self prepare the application which should include complete Bio-Data, names, addresses and telephone numbers of two (02) non-related referees and should be sent by registered post addressed to “Chairman, National Film Corporation of Sri Lanka, 303, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 07” to receive before 11.03.2022. Certified copies of documents to prove all information mentioned in the application should be attached to the application. Post applied for should be mentioned on the left hand top corner of the envelope containing the application.

II. Applications received after the closing date of applications will not be accepted. If any  information given in the application is found to be false before recruitment or after recruitment you will be considered as disqualified for this post and it may result in the termination of contract.
