Applications are invited from the suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the above post.

POST OF MOORING MASTER Grade A-4 (ON CONTRACT BASIS)

 Qualifications required 

a) i.Masters Certificate of competency for foreign going vessels, preferably with experience on petroleum Super Tankers up to 180,000 DWT. 

OR

 ii.Masters Certificate of Competency for Harbour vessels with several years of experience in the local environment and some sea going experience preferably on petroleum Super Tankers up to 180,000 DWT. 

OR

iii.Chief mate for foreign- going vessels with at least 5 years’ experience of which one year should be on Petroleum Super Tankers up to 180,000 DWT. 

b) Fluency in English Language. Mooring and SPBM experience in the petroleum or related industries would be a definite advantage. Age: Should be less than 48 years of age.

Remuneration: Negotiable.(Take home monthly remuneration would be around Rs.500,000/-) The company will contribute 15% of the salary towards the EPF whilst the employee will have to contribute 10 % for the same. 

The Company will also contribute 3% of the salary towards the ETF.
