Advance Cardiac Centre at Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital is one of the leading Cardiac Centres in Sri Lanka performing high end, high volume adult cardiac surgeries with more than 500 surgeries per annum. It also has a 12 bedded ICU and 06 bedded HDU. The successful candidate should function as the Consultant Anaesthetist-in-charge of Cardiothoracic ICU/HDU apart from the routine duties as Cardiac Anaesthetist. Therefore, experience in the above field will be an added advantage

Qualifications : PGIM Board Certification or eligible for privileges of Board Certification. Preference will be given to candidates with special training / experience in Cardiac Anaesthesia.

Age : Applicants should be less than 50 years of age. If no applicants below 50 years of age are available, those over 50 years of age will be considered to be appointed on contract basis. 

Salary Scale : Rs. 118,800 - 12x3645 - 162,540/= p.m. In addition, additional allowances approved by the Board will also be paid.

Terms of Employment : Permanent (less than 50 years) and on Provident Fund basis.

A certificate from the Head of the Institution to the effect that the candidate could be released if selected for appointment should be attached to the application.
