This is an extension of dates to the advertisement that appeared in “Sunday Observer”, “Silumina” and “Thinakaran” newspapers on above purpose on 29.08.2021. Please note that if you have already applied for the above post as per the advertisement on 29.08.2021, no need to apply again.

Applications are invited for the above post. 

Qualifications : Specialists, Medical Officers in Government or Private Hospitals with MD/MS Board Certification in General Surgery from Postgraduate Institute of Medicine (PGIM) of the University of Colombo.

Age : Applicants should be less than 50 years 

Salary Scale : Rs. 118,800 - 12x3645-162,540/- p.m. In addition allowances paid in the government sector and additional allowances approved by the Board will also be paid.

Terms of Employment : Permanent and on Provident Fund Basis and Employees Trust Fund

Applicants holding the Posts in the Government Service should send their applications through the Head of the Department or institute in which they serve with a copy directly. A certificate from the Head of the Institution to the effect that the candidate could be released if selected for appointment should be attached to the application.

The Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital Board reserves to itself the right to make /not to make an appointment.
