EEG Technician

Applications are invited from those who have acquired below mentioned basic qualifications upon completion  of Advanced Level Examination  for the  recruitment of trainees for below mentioned courses.

Required Qualifications

01. EEG Technician

GCE O/Ls with 6 subjects including English Language in not more than 2 sittings with at least Credit passes for Sinhala Language/ Tamil Language, Mathematics, Science and one more subject.

                                                  And

All three (03) subjects in GCE A/Ls with a Credit pass for Biology also including Physics, Chemistry in one sitting.

General Conditions

01. Age Limit should be not less than 18 years and not more than 25 years.

02. Should not be registered  for a  full -time  course  in  a  university  or  other institute at the date of getting qualified.

03. All applicants should mention the relevant 'Z Score' of the year in which they sat for the examination.

04. Applicants should be in good physical and mental health and of excellent moral character.

05. All qualifications should be met in every possible way at the date mentioned in the notice of recruitment. Copies of certificates should be attached with the application in proof of qualifications.

06. Selected applicants should be trained full time at the Training School of  the Department of Health and  a  monthly  allowance  will  be  paid  according  to  the terms of Schedule V in Public Administration Circular .No . 03/ 2016.

07. All trainees should sign an agreement upon completion of training, to be employed for a compulsory 1O-year service period in the Board of Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital.

08. Recruitment upon training will be done subjected to the rules and regulations related to the post and salaries will be paid subject to the terms of Public Administration Circular No. 03/2016 and according to the below  mentioned salary scales.
