SRI JAYAWARDENEPURA GENERAL HOSPITAL

VACANCIES

Post of Ophthalmic Technologist

Applications are invited for the above post.

Qualifications :  Certificate obtained from the School of Ophthalmic Technology of Sri Lanka and having been registered as an Ophthalmic Technologist in the Sri Lanka Medical Council with three (03) years experience

Age : Applicants should be less than 50 years of age. If no applicants  below 50 years of age are available, those over 50 years of age will be considered to be appointed on contract basis.

Salary  : Rs. 43,310 - 10x600 - 11x890 - 10x985 - 10x1015 - 79,100/- p.m.

Salary Step in - Rs. 43,310/- p.m.

In addition to the allowances paid in the government sector additional allowances approved by the Board will also be paid.

Terms of Employment : Permanent (less than 50 years) and Provident Fund Basis. If  any applicant from Government Institution desires to apply on secondment basis for the post, their applications will be considered.

Applicants who are already employed in the Public service should send their applications, through the Heads of the Departments / Institutions they serve, with a copy direct, a certificate issued by the Head of the relevant Department / institution, stating that, if selected, the applicant could be released from service, should be sent annexed to the application.

The Board of Directors of the Sri Jayawardenepura General Hospital reserves the right to appoint/ not to appoint any candidates to the post. The post applied for should be clearly indicated on the top-left hand corner of the envelope.
