STATE PHARMACEUTICALS MANUFACTURING CORPORATION

STATE MINISTRY OF PRODUCTION, SUPPLY AND REGULATION OF PHARMACEUTICALS

We are looking for qualified, dynamic, self-motivated, career ambitious, team players to join SPMC to fill the following vacancies.

Every applicant,

i.        Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.

ii.      Should be physically and mentally fi t to discharge the duties of the post well  and to serve in any part of the island.

iii.     Should be of excellent moral character.

POST OF REGULATORY AFFAIRS OFFICER (JM-1-1 GRADE II)

(1 , 2 or 3 below )

 Qualifications - External Candidates:

1.      A  Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy which is  recognized by the University  Grants Commission.

2.      A Bachelor’s Degree in Science including a subject of Chemistry or Pharmacy  which is  recognized by the University Grants Commission.

And

Being a registered Pharmacist in Sri Lanka Medical Council.

 3. Having  obtained a certificate of proficiency not below than the National Vocational Qualification Level 6, issued by a technical / vocational training institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission in relevant fi led.   

And

At  least five (05) years post qualifying experience in a pharmaceuticals Regulatory field   in a Public  / Corporation / Board or reputed Mercantile Establishment and being  a registered pharmacist in Sri Lanka Medical Council.

 Internal Candidates (1 or 2  below)

1.     Having obtained the qualifications required by the external candidates above. 

2.     Completion of minimum five (05) years satisfactory service in a post of the  ‘Management Assistant –Technological’ (MA 2-1) Grade II, having experience in the subject area relevant to the post and   being a registered pharmacist in Sri Lanka Medical Council.

• Salary Scale :  JM 1-1- 2016 - Rs. 42,600/= – 10 x 755 - 18 x 1135 – 70,580/=

 • Age Limit : Should not be less than 22 years and not more than 45 years. The upper age limit will not be applicable to internal applicants.

•  Method of Recruitment: Written competitive examination and structured interview.

•       The Corporation will contribute 15% of the salary towards the EPF whilst the employee will have to contribute 10%.

•       Gratuity will be paid in accordance with the Gratuity Act No. 12 of 1983 and MSD circular.
