SRI LANKA MEDICAL COUNCIL
VACANCY
HEAD OF EXAMINATION UNIT
The Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) seeks the services of an experienced and dynamic Medical or Dental professional/academic who is willing to take up the challenge of running the Examination Unit of the Sri Lanka Medical Council which conducts licensing examinations ERPM and ERPDS. The SLMC invites applications from Medical or Dental practitioners who possess the following:
1.Registration as a Specialist with Sri Lanka Medical Council.
2.A proven track record of at least 15 years’ experience in teaching and conducting Medical/Dental examinations.
The appointment shall be on a full-time basis for a period of 02 years, with the possibility of re-appointment for a second term. Professors from Medical Faculties on sabbatical leave are encouraged to apply. The salary and other emoluments shall be as determined by the Medical Council, subject to the approval of the Minister of Health.
The responsibilities and duties(Terms of Reference) of the post shall be made available to the selected applicant.
