Lanka Salt Limited (LSL), the largest salt producer in the country with SLS & ISO 9001:22000 accreditation, is desirous of obtaining the services of persons suitably qualified for the undermentioned posts.

Ideal Candidates should have previous experience in the relevant fields in a reputed Organization. He/She should be vigilant, pro-active and intelligent.

Post of Internal Auditor MM 1-1

Job Profile : Key Responsible Areas:

Report to the Chairman through AGM -Audit to perform the task of internal audit in line with annual audit plan.

•Formulation of Internal Audit plan on an annual basis with special focus on management audits

•Ensure transactions in the company are in line with financial regulations, generally accepted accounting principles and MOP of the company

•Assist higher management to correct any deviation from        accepted   practices and procedures

Nature of Appointment : Permanent position with entitlement to approved benefits for employees of Lanka Salt Ltd and to the said position.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

External :

1.Full professional qualifications issued by ICA(SL), ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification with 01 year experience in the relevant field

OR

2.A Bachelor's Degree recognized by UGC in the field of BSc Accounting, Finance Management, B. Com in Business Management, Public Management or Intermediate of CASL, ACCA, CIMA, CMA or other equivalent qualification with 3 years of managerial experience in the relevant field in the Government, State Corporations, Statutory Boards or recognized mercantile establishments.

Internal :

Minimum 03 years satisfactory service in the Junior Executive (JM 1-1) in the subject area of Accounting / Auditing relevant to the post with the required educational and professional qualifications mentioned above

And

The proven ability to lead and direct multidisciplinary teams & Managing Human & other requirements to achieve company goals.

Age Limit : Should be not less than 30 years and not more than 55 years. The upper age limit will not apply to employees of the Government, State Corporations, Boards and internal candidates.
