Applications are invited from eligible Sri Lankan citizens for temporary recruitment to the following position in the Institute of National Security Studies of Sri Lanka under the State Ministry of Defence and Disaster Management.

1.Position : Director (Research)01 vacancy

Monthly allowance: Basic   salary   Rs.80,295.00 + Cost  of  living allowance Rs.7,800.00 = Rs.88,095.00

Educational qualifications : Should have  obtained  a postgraduate  Degree  in International relations/ Peace and Conflict Resolution Study / Security Studies/ Intelligence Services study/ Terrorism / Sociology / Political Science / Law / Economics awarded from a university or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission. (U.G.C)

Experience: Should have at least 06 years of management level experience in field related to reasearch.

Age: Should not be less than 30 or more than 50 years(Maximum age limit does not apply to applicants applying on secondary basis).

Method of Recruitment : The candidate with highest marks in aptitude assessment interview will be recruited.

• All applicants must sit for a 30-minute written test to assess English language proficiency on the day of the aptitude test interview.

• Candidates fully qualified for the above post should submit their applications by registered post on or before 17.12.2021 to Secretary, State Ministry of National Security and Disaster Management, Defence Headquarters Complex, Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte.
