SRI LANKA TRANSPORT BOARD (SLTB)

POST OF CIVIL ENGINEER (CONTRACT)

Applications are hereby invited from experienced persons with the necessary qualifications, mentioned below to recruit for the Post of Civil Engineer under contract basis, for the supervision of construction works of the Project of Development of sanitary facilities in the SLTB Depots, implemented under the World Bank Aids (grants).

Qualifications and Service Experience

( Qualifications 1 or 2 below )

1.B.Sc.  (Civil Engineering) Degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission ( UGC ).

and

Master of Industrial Engineers (MIE) / Member of Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).

and

Having 05 years experience with service experience in the foreign funded projects.

2. Having competency certificate in not less than Level 06 of the National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ-06) in Civil Engineering  issued by a Technical / Vocational Training Institution recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).

And

Having obtained the membership of the Institution of Incorporated Engineers, Sri Lanka (IIESL). 

and

10  years of experience with service experience in the foreign funded projects.

Terms of Employment:

Recruited for a period of one (01) year on contract basis.
