Lanka Electricity  Company  (Private)  Limited, a distribution utility  in  Sri Lanka  which  has  seven  Branches  covering operational  areas of  the coastal belt of  the island from Negombo to Galle serving over  500,000 consumers having a workforce of 1500 employees is seeking qu1ified personnel on contract basis for the following posts to be engaged in the Power Reliability Strengthening Project (PSRSP) funded by ADB which will  improve system reliability levels and  meet future electricity  demand in the selected distribution areas.

Technical Officer

Educational Qualifications

G C.E. (Ordinary- Level) including passes in English and Mathematics AND any one of the following courses:-

•    National Diploma in Technology (Electrical Power)

•    Higher National Diploma in Engineering (Electrical)

•    National Diploma in Engineering Science (Electrical Engineering)

•    Diploma in Technology (Electrical Engineering) - Open University of Sri Lanka

•    City & Guilds Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience

•    Minimum 02 years of post-qualifying experience.

•    Previous project experience will be considered as value added qualification.

General Considerations:

The selected candidates, if new to LECO are appointed for an initial term of 2 years.
